HENSHILWOOD RESERVE

Public BBQ

Henshilwood Reserve serves as both a community sports ground and recreational park in Irymple. The facility includes a playground for children, public electric barbecues, and toilets, though the amenities can occasionally suffer from heavy use by nearby school students. The oval hosts local footy matches with decent clubrooms, canteen service, and clean changing facilities. Ample parking accommodates visitors even on busy game days. The reserve provides a quiet spot for rest stops, dog walking, or picnic lunches, though exposed areas can cop the occasional dust storm typical of the region. While functional, the single toilet block location means a long walk for spectators on the far side of the field during sporting events.
